CPD OverviewFleet Trainer Qualification The aim of the qualification is to develop your Presentation skills, enhance your Coaching Techniques and understand the ethics of Risk Assessing. Successful candidates will be able to enter onto the DSA Fleet Register which can open new avenues of earning potential.
NVQ Level 3 in Driving InstructionThe aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of Driving Instruction. It provides insight into the principles and processes of Driving Instruction and will aid career progression. When you complete the NVQ Level 3 in Driving Instruction, you will be gaining recognition for your experience in the key areas of:
• Providing high quality instruction • Ensuring the safety of yourself and others • Offering a service that is responsive to individual needs • Guiding and managing the learning process • Staff and business management
To achieve a full award in Driving Instruction, you are required to achieve all of the following units: Unit 1: Prepare to drive the vehicle Unit 2: Demonstrate safe driving Unit 3: Supervise learner driving Unit 4: Contribute to Health & Safety in your work place Unit 5: Provide professional customer care Unit 6: Facilitate learning through demonstration and Instruction Unit 7: Facilitate individual learning through coaching Unit 8: Monitor and review learner driver progress with learners Unit 12: Provide commentary whilst driving Unit 13: Facilitate group learning through presentation and activities
NVQ Assessor (A1 Award)The aim of this qualification is to ensure quality assurance within the assessment of NVQs and contribute to overall performance in all industries and occupations. The purpose is to enable potential assessors to assess candidates against agreed standards of competence using a range of assessment methods. Give candidates feedback on assessment decisions and contribute to internal quality assurance processes.
Candidates must complete the mandatory unit as follows:
Unit A1 Assess learners using a range of methods:• Develop plans for assessing competence with learners • Judge evidence against criteria to make assessment decisions • Provide feedback and support to learners on assessment decisions • Contribute to the internal quality assurance process
